REVIEWS:

Rick reviewed "Halo" (on Paramount+) as a vaguely military-SF streaming series
based on the series of games, and is recommended as greatly exceeding
expectations

Yochanan reviewed the Jim Henson exhibition 'Imagination Unlimited' showing at
the Contemporary Jewish Museum in SF, Mar 31, 2022–Aug 14, 2022 as wonderful;
check https://thecjm.org/exhibitions/157
and he reviewed the latest movie remake of 'Death on the Nile' as he
doesn't like mysteries but loved this.  It has a great cast, excellent acting -
well worth watching - & highly, highly recommended.  Lisa followed, saying that
they did a good job on this remake & it's great fun.  Chris O also agrees that
the movie is very good
and he reviewed 'Time Scoop' by John Brunner as an interesting book & he
enjoyed it

John O reviewed his Hugo readings & comments that 'you should start reading
now'.  He says making choices will be difficult this year since they are all
very good.  He has read 'Project Hail Mary', by Andy Weir (Ballantine / Del
Rey) & 'She Who Became the Sun', by Shelley Parker-Chan, as well as a short
story 'Unknown Number', by Blue Neustifter & recommends them
and he reviewed 'The King's Man' as an enjoyable fantasy & much better
than the first 2 movies in the series, with the setting as being around the
time of World War I & is worth paying for whatever your streaming service costs
& Rick followed, especially liking the scenes with Rasputin - & both agreed
that the Rasputin fight scene is just 'freaking amazing'
and he reviewed 'Picard' ep 8 as it's getting involved & some are
complaining it's turning into a soap opera & he highly recommends it

we adjourned at 8:37 pm

and the rumor of the week was = 'Disney World will be moving to the space
station'
