REVIEWS:

Craig reviewed a show called 'Upload' on Amazon Prime as not a great show
but he kinda of likes it

John O reviewed 'Turning Red' by Pixar as a metaphor for puberty & highly
recommended it & is streaming on Disney Plus;
he also reviewed 'Encanto', rating it as great & thinks the songs were
great, with stunning visuals

Howeird reviewed 'Resident Alien', season 2, that the alien character is
gaining greater depth & some of the other characters have greater depth &
more diverse, varied casting than is usual for TV; Rick followed that he is
loving this in spite of hating sit-coms

Gerard reviewed MarsCon this last weekend, held in Bloomington, Minnesota,
where he gave 3 presentations - got a lot done - and still had some time to
enjoy the con

Yochanan reviewed 'Encanto' on Disney Plus as a computer generated animated
film as disappointing because - while it looked nice - that the plot was
inconsistent, the songs were not memorable and rates it as okay & worth
free or maybe matinee;
he also reviewed the new version of 'Cyrano' as he could tell that it is
based on a play & there were some really nice performances & was moving &
he very much recommends it;
& he reviewed 'The Book of Boba Fett' as the last episodes became very much
the Mandalorian, season 3 & very much loved it, even though he is not much
of a Star Wars fan & highly recommends it

Gayle reviewed MarsCon as she didn't get much sleep during the con and had
a very interesting time there and found the panel on Afrofuturism to be
fascinating

we adjourned at 8:44 pm

and the rumor of the week was = 'Daylight Savings Time: Time travel made
easy!'
