Overload, now available on Youtube, the link = https://youtu.be/aW2LvQUcwqc

was so reassured

Valerie reviewed the ICFA, International Conference of Fantastic in the
Arts as it had many excellent papers, but the format where we had to
pre-read them all meant a lot of outside work & went long & she reviewed TJ
Klune's 'The Extradinaries' as the plot is very predictable, but the
protagonist is so endearing that she could forgive this

Howeird reviewed 'Resident Alien' as he is enjoying the series for the most
part, although the lead actor's performance still seems forced & the
sheriff character is over-acting

Yochanan reviewed the Zack Snyder cut of 'Justice League', all 4-hours
worth, as his sister really loved it & he personally liked it a ton, still
not as good as the MCU, but the changes done to scenes & plot were much
better than the theatrical release & that to help with the length, there
are chapter pauses to give bathroom break time & he also reviewed
'Snowpiercer' on cable as he is enjoying the series and finds it interesting

Dave C reviewed a mystery movie, 'Satan Met a Lady' from 1936 as 'the
second remake of the Maltese Falcon' and was very, very silly & lacks the
snappy dialogue from the 3rd remake with Humphrey Bogart which became the
famous film we now think of as 'The Maltese Falcon'

John O reviewed having their catalytic converter stolen as bad, but their
insurance company covered it & Fremont Toyota gave them attitude about
repairing it, but everything worked out, plus they had a catalytic
converter shield added to the repair,
rick posted info about the shield = https://catshield.com/ <-- cat as in
catalytic converter, not as in feline
& then John O reviewed a visit to Home Depot as many customer service reps
were not wearing their masks properly, when they were even wearing one - so
his customer review reflected this lack

Gerry reviewed the virtual LepreCon online convention as there were the
usual problems with attendee connectivity & he was on a good panel & that
next year's con should also be virtual - with the next in-person con being
planned for 2 years from now; Gayle followed saying she saw several
interesting cultural & political presentations and enjoyed the filk so much
she had sleep deprivation from staying up so late

we adjourned at 8:44 pm

and the rumor of the week = 'Serenity or Serendipity it all comes out in
the Wash'
