He also reviewed 2003's 'Brother Bear' as fabulous & definitely recommended, then reviewed 'The Relentless Moon: A Lady Astronaut Novel' by Mary Robinette Kowal as the 4th in that series & it involves different characters from the other 3 since 'documenting a trip to Mars is really boring' & comments that the new characters are interesting & the mystery is well done & he very much recommends it. John also commented that this year's Hugo noms have generally not been to his taste Howeird reviewed that he loves Kowal's writing style, but is not fond of 'blow up the planet books' & then reviewed Amazon Prime's 'Epoch' - which is a 2001 movie being streamed thru Amazon - as the plot is 'a study in how many movies we can steal things from' see = https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0233657/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0 Lisa reviewed Max Miller's 'Tasting History' on Youtube as really really well done, terribly enjoyable & recommended see = https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsaGKqPZnGp_7N80hcHySGQ Gayle reviewed that she finally figured out how to see her personal WorldCon schedule, but it only shows NZ times & printing the schedule results in mostly blank pages & will have to work on getting the times & dates down. For her Hugo voting, she enjoyed 'The Blur in the Corner of Your Eye' novelette by Sarah Pinsker as it had a nice surprise ending & she liked the documentary 'Worlds of Ursula K. Le Guin' as best related work; then Rick Moen reminded us that voting for site selection is nearly done Gerry reviewed that he is being very challenged by the new technology that is required for this year's virtual Worldcon & will try to attend his panels - but no guarantees at this point & he's feeling frustrated Ken reviewed turning 50 in lockdown as it's been different & not really worth full price. He had a 4 hour Zoom meeting during part of it, but it's been kind of strange at times & probably the best party they could manage we adjourned at 8:35 pm Rumor of the week was = 'Someone put the difficulty level for 2020 on 'hard mode' -- ******************* She/whispered/'Oh/my/goodness/what/are/all/these/squirrels/doing/here?' melc...@gmail.com *******************
