We established a party jar.
The minutes for meeting 1155 were accepted as "KTEH rules."
The treasurer said we had money, but provided no specific details.
The VP reported there's a new Drink Tank out with emphasis on Jurassic Park.
There is also a new issue of Exhibition Hall with articles on Jack the Ripper.
He said Journey Planet is currently putting together an issue dedicated to
James Bond and is looking for more articles.
The treasurer also handed the VP a prize he won at Chicon 7.
Sports committee says he's in a lottery for Giants play-off tix. He didn't say
how many, though.
Ad Hoc Cinema committee is going to Big Lebowski on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at
the Retrodome.
Announcements:
Ken reminded people about Legion of Rassilon meeting on Friday.
JC said his girls' soccer team won 5 to 0 and have yet to be scored against.
Carole said Conjecture is coming up in San Diego.
Reviews:
Andy said Iron Sky is a gorgeous film that's worth full price. Ric without a K
said it only gets better the second time around.
Kevin R. reviewed Best Buck in the Bay. He and Andy won the RV decorating
contest, which had an Old West theme.
Ric took his family to see Batman Live and was disappointed the venue didn't
sell out. He highly recommends it. Chris, Josh, JC, Ken, John O. and Ric all
thought it was awesome.
We did auctions.
