It's actually the "Classical Public Radio Network" which is owned by USC that 
is taking over the KDFC operation on the former KUSF frequencies.  It's not a 
PBS or NPR affiliate. Entercom is taking over the old KDFC frequency.  Several 
million dollars changed hands between several parties in this complicated deal 
involving several owners and stations.

Primarily, USF grabbed an opportunity to raise some money by selling KUSF.   
Colleges are desperate for cash right now and this is happening to college 
radio stations all over the country.
