Reviews
FurCon was reviewed by Josh as that the Fairmont still bites as a con hotel,
the con suite & fursuit parade were both awesome & everyone was super nice;
Mo reviewed that she actually got to attend panels & enjoyed them, it was
really exciting & she especially enjoyed that all 4 pianos were being played
by con-goers during the con; Lisa reviewed that she ran the Westercon fan
table, that the panels she saw were good, the Masquerade was good, FNL was
no so good and the BASFA party was great; Dave C reviewed FC as the hotel
food service was glacial

Dave G reviewed the Picasso exhibit in Seattle as wonderful & led to their
new phrase: 'damn you Pablo!' & reviewed the Battlestar Galactica exhibit
at the sf museum as worth being sfn members for

I reviewed 'The Green Hornet' as being an hour of dull mixed with an hour of
fun, exciting film

Chris reviewed 'Things to Come' as he should have seen it decades ago & it's
worth Netflix; reviewed Stephen Baxter's book 'Evolution' as really neat
but long; & reviewed the board game 'the Bigfoot Game' by Hasbro as a
remarkably wonderful, terrible game

Julie reviewed a Burt Lancaster film, 'the Train' as it should be a must see
film for film students & well worth Netflixing; Mo follow-on'd that it got a
lot of critical acclaim when it came out; then Julie reviewed 'Monsters vs
Aliens' as worth seeing, with decent 3D

Dave C reviewed 'Celebrity Autobiography' as fun for masochists

Mo reviewed 'Tales of Tomorrow' as check Hulu for the 60 episodes & a
really good series

Then we did auctions –calendars for $4.00, $0.25, $0.25; & a plastic bag
for $0.25

We adjourned at = 9:35 pm
