Dear All !

Thanks for your suggestion to try restoring data, while doing that i realized
that i could not read any of the tapes,
they all gave the "Volume unlabeled" error. This made me search for a more
global cause and it turned out that i had
forgotten to upload the encryption key to the drive after the last power cycle:

So, for posterity: The Bacula Error "Volume appears to be unlabeled"

Is caused by the drive being unable to read any data off the tape due to
missing decryption keys.

Thanks all for your help, i really appreciate the quick and helpful answers,
Cheers,
KK
