I'm not sure if you understand how GPL licensing works, but it is a software that comes with no support or warranties. What I mean, is all people here provided answers to your problem voluntarely using their free time. BTW: I'm pretty sure my diagnostic is right. Also, I strongly recommend you to have a test environment to deploy features before putting them into production, and to not perform manual Catalog SQL updates. That said, this is an user group.
