So, to recap, here's how I solved:
_ went to "System Settings" (*);
_ choose "Security and Privacy";
_ moved to the "Security" tab;
_ choose "Complete access to disk" in the left pane;
_ added bacula-fd binary to the list.
(*) Please note the MacOS I used was in Italian, so I translated back to
English the strings above. I'm not sure they are exactly the same you
will find in an English version.
