Apologies in advance if this is a little basic but I haven't been able to find a clear answer.
I have a set of old LTO-5 tapes that have previously been used in bacula but now all the data has expired and I would like to use them for a different purpose in a different pool. Now ideally I would like to continue using the existing bar code labels on the tapes. Is that possible? The only instructions I have been able to find are where I use mtx to overwrite the eof and then label them again, which given the name of the command, I assume means I will need to add a new bar code label. Should I be looking at using purge instead? Thanks in advance.
