In fiddling about with building Bacula on Solaris 11.3, I thought I would try passing some options to the C++ compiler to see if it would have any effect.
It doesn't - because the configure script does not honour the setting of CXXFLAGS.
Makes it a bit difficult to alter the behaviour of the C++ compiler. I have reproduced this on Centos 7.
