Yeah, i've just read Gary and Ralf tips, thanks to all of you.

I'm sad to hear SQLite is depreciated, as it's still available in packages list.
We started to use postgres, also tried SQLite, and choosed SQLite, as it seemed
to be lighter than postgres.

I guess we can use our current SQLite database, and import it to a fresh
Bacula/postgres installation ?
I'm gonna try this is test environment, but again, tips are welcome!

About daily backups, yep, I proceed like this, with BSR files of backup
jobs/catalog backup exported to a safer place than the server itself.
We also tried a "disaster plan" working with the previoulsy BSR files saved,
worked like a charm.

BTW, regarding your personal experience and feedback, what would be the
best/faster option with a disaster plan; let's say you lose everything, bacula
server, file server (and i mean file server, no databases / etc).
Is it faster to a), reinstall a fresh bacula, BSR-restore your catalog, and run
a bconsole>restore job, or b), reinstall a fresh bacula, and BSR-restore datas
to the file server itself with bextract ?
In my environment, i would choose a), as we use Samba with ACL, and configured
bacula to backup ACLs (and "bextract" does not seem to deal with ACLs), but
again, feedback is greatly appreciated!

Thanks

The points made by both Ralf and Gary are also important.

Use postgres or mysql instead of SQLite.
Change 'Random Access = yes' to 'Random Access = no' which is the
correct param for LTO (I'm not sure if bacula will ignore the parameter,
but is better to set it properly).

As another note, once you setup the final database, configure daily
backups of it and test that after you restore the database you can see
previous jobs and perform restores (always test the backups).

Regards,
Iñaki.
