Here's what might be a quick work around. There are 2 clients that were being backed up in 2014. I know they're long gone, and their entries have been commented out of bacula-dir.conf
The old backups still show up in the catalog listing, and their old backup volumes are still taking up space in the full filesystem. How would I remove the entries from the catalog and delete (or reuse) the volumes? Thanks....Lyle -------------------------------------------- On Tue, 2/23/16, Dimitri Maziuk <dmaz...@bmrb.wisc.edu> wrote: Subject: Re: [Bacula-users] filesystem full To: bacula-users@lists.sourceforge.net Date: Tuesday, February 23, 2016, 2:24 PM On 02/23/2016 04:03 PM, Lylex Ryan wrote: > We do have another filesystem (shared, but still a lot of room) > available. You could replace the existing filesystem with the lrager one and move the volume files over. Long answer is I can't think of any easy way that doesn't involve changing you bacula configuration. If you do that, you might as well go for latest centos and bacula and if you want to stay with on-line on-disk backups: zfs and probably larger-disk-slot-count chassis so on and so forth.
