What does 'status slots' show?
If possible, try running mtx-changer manually with bacula stopped. Do a
'list' command, not a 'listall', since it is the list command that
Bacula uses during 'update slots' There could potentially be an issue
with the mtx-changer script itself. The manually load and unload a drive
using mtx-changer and see if anything changes.
Also, run mtx-changer as the same user that bacula-sd runs as, because
mtx-changer is being invoked by SD. On my Centos 6 system it runs as
bacula:tape. This could reveal a permissions issue, etc.I think at this
point it is best to first determine that the mtx-changer script is
indeed working as expected by testing it manually.
