Florian, I never worked with plink, but is this command a shell one? Maybe you could try something like that echo run "job=BackupJobName yes" |bconsole Alternativaly you could schedule Bacula to start this backup when the time you think notebook would be pluged in the network, and just put the Retry On Error, so Bacula will try to backup it x defined Retry times x Retry Interval until it gets connected and backuped.
