Hello. I am currently adding two laptops to the backup network I am taking care of. After discussing how to work with them as they aren't always available, we decided to let a batch file run on startup, asking the user, if a backup should be started in the background.
I couln't figure out how to start a job remotely yet. I am using plink to connect to the server on which bacula runs. Here is the line of my batch file that I tried to use: plink.exe -pw <Password> root@<Server> "bconsole < \"run job=\"BackupJob\"\"" This results in the following output though: bash: run BackupJob: File or Folder not found. Could someone help me a bit with the syntax?
