Volume Retention in seconds is not summing up very well. Perhaps you believe me, I checked "Volume Retention", "Use duration", "Expire" and "Last Written" for the tapes in bat. Right now, I cannot deliver the requested information, I cleared the tape. Next week I'm going to do further tests. By theory this should work flawless: Tape "FridayInc5": Volume Retention: 25 days Last Written: 2014-06-01 Expire: 2014-06-26 Use duration: 5 days Vol. Bytes: 38 GB Vol. Status: Append Recycle: Yes > Also remember that changing the pool definition in bacula-dir.conf > does nothing to change the retention period of existing volumes.
