I was looking at the script I pointed Steven to, and in the notes/history, I see that I wrote: --[snip]-- - The decision to send the sqlquery commands to bconsole rather than sending SQL commands directly to the database was intentional. Sending commands to bconsole results in the commands being included in the log and also in the job report emails to aid in troubleshooting. --[snip]-- So that is, IMHO another good reason.
