Just checking - what you want to do is *not* back up the files to disk
volumes and then backup the disk volumes to tape, but backup the files
to disk volumes and then backup the files *from* the disk volumes to
tape, so that you could restore them directly?
As far as I know - and I would be happy to be corrected - Bacula cannot
do this.
Nor can it "tee" files off to another place.
Snapshots and copying same to various places suggest themselves as a
possible solution, but does your environment have them?
