No, the volumes in a pool can be used in any storage device that has a matching Media Type. The Media Type is assigned to a volume when it is created. > Q2: > If I have two Pools and two Storages, can my Volume names overlap? They must be unique. > (Background -- somehwere in my Bacula config, I ended up with > * Volume 100 on Storage A as a member of Pool A > * a request to load Volume 100 on Storage B > and this blocked all of my backups.) This might happen if the Media Type for Storage A and Storage B are the same. __Martin ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Create and publish websites with WebMatrix Use the most popular FREE web apps or write code yourself; WebMatrix provides all the features you need to develop and publish your website. http://p.sf.net/sfu/ms-webmatrix-sf _______________________________________________ Bacula-users mailing list Bacula-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/bacula-users
