Well, a mysql plugin for hot backup should be available soon :)

But a problem is it will backup a whole mysql instance, not a specific
database, table or row. The main problem with restoring database objects on
a live system is database data integrity. You can't restore a particular row
without checking table or column constraints, triggers or else.

A plugin for backup of Exchange is available for some time. Plugin for
Oracle is on newest project TODO list.
But to compete with other commercial products, Bacula should have a strong
commercial support and development, so not all new feature will be available
on community version, only on enterprise one - check Kerns email on
bacula-devel a few weeks ago.
