Yes.

I can do a telnet to sd server from fd client in port 9103.

No.

Let me explain something:

Backup server: 192.168.1.20 (run director and sd)
A client (that works): 192.168.1.31
Router from another network (that works): 10.0.253.1

Server in the same network of the above client (this doesn't works) :
10.0.253.2

The fd config file from 10.0.253.1 and 10.0.253.2 is basically the same
cause I use the same password. I just change the name in the file daemon
section of conf file.

The 10.0.253.2 client worked for months and we don't change any config
files.
