Thanks for the quick reply! I was a little too aggressive and deleted everything from the USB drive including the index. So I shut down bacula, deleted the vchanger drive directory in /var/lib/bacula, restarted bacula and ran "vchanger -u bacula -g disk /etc/bacula/vchanger.conf initmag 1". It re-created the directory in /var/lib/bacula and made the index and volume files on the USB drive. I then deleted just the volume files on the USB and started BAT:
