You did mention it, but I missed it.  In my case, my pools are plenty 
large enough to handle occasional upgraded fulls, and I guess I never 
worried about occasionally spooling an upgraded job--I only spool to 
limit shoeshining on non-fulls, because my spool isn't RAIDed, I can run 
fulls faster than I can spool (plus of course, no spool overhead).
