Dan, that won't work and I'm sure you know why ;-) (Or you know somthing you should *really* share ;-) Incrementals are based on the last run level *of the same* job, i.e. to get a proper set of jobs based on each other, these must use the same job definition. I think Ryan's suggestion is the way to go - use different storage devices, and set these up with and without spooling. Then, define which pools to use for which level in the job resource - 'incremental pool' etc. and in the pool definitions, assign the storage device to use. That's what I do... but I don't want the data to end up on the same devices, in the end... If you want to save to disk, this is not a problem, you can share a directory among many storage devices. I'm not sure I'd try this with tape, though...
