ok, for the records, the only right way to use a backup job on a x-Drive changer is over the changer device, not directly to a drive inside the changer. then we are on the next problem described in your parallel mail: > Follow the advice Arno gave about Prefer Mounted Volumes=no. I hope (not yet tested) 2 Jobs go automatically to every 1 Drive. What can i do (without user interaction) after the backup finished (all 4 jobs or accordingly the backup-catalog job finshed!) to set the volumes in state Append affected by the 4 or 5 jobs set to status Used?
