I am not convinced you have the right passwords in the right place. The password in bacula-fd.conf should be the same as that found in the corresponding Client resource [for that client] in bacula-dir.conf. This is not the Director's password. I do not know what you mean by users password, but ensure the above is fixed first. Yes, in bconsole.conf, you want the Director's password.
