What did you do?

That would be too much noise for that little signal... just add the 
"Heartbeat Interval = 10min" to the FD configuration. It's described 
in the manual.

If that still doesn't solve the problems, you should run the DIR and 
FD with debug logging turned on, and/or use tcpdump, wireshark, or 
whatever you prefer on both ends to try to find out which system drops 
the connection.
