The best thing would be for you to file a bug report on it.  Though I am "sort 
of in Win32" (actually fixing it from Linux and letting users test), I have 
20 things up in the air, so this is likely to get lost.

I suspect that is a problem of Win32 not liking * in a filename rather than 
the forward slash.
