Hello,

Would everyone who has volunteered to do regression testing for Solaris and
FreeBSD please subscribe to the bacula-beta email list. In order to move
things forward for regression testing so that I am not a blocking factor, I
would like you all to use bacula-beta. That way, you can exchange ideas and
experiences, which I think will lead to a much better system.

If there are any Win32 developers or experienced users who would like to try
regression testing, I recommend that you also sign up on that list. That
way, we may be able to officially support the Win32 servers as well as do
better testing of the Win32 client to avoid problems like the Win32
encryption bug # 807.

In case there is any confusion, now is the time to test against the current
SVN trunk code, and if there are any failures notify the bacula-beta (and if
you wish the bacula-devel) list. As far as I know, all regression tests are
working perfectly fine on Linux, and the regex compile problems on FreeBSD
are now completely fixed (i.e. do svn update in both the bacula and the
regress directories and then rerun the regression tests).

Thanks for your willingness to put a bit of effort into the Bacula project.

Best regards,

Kern
