To Adam: it sounds like something is terribly broken with your Win2k3 ethernet card. You might try upgrading the firmware (see the Win32 chapter for a reported case), or replacing the card. To John: You are undoubtely talking about an older 1.38.xx version of Bacula, since the problem that marked tapes in Error when the FD died has been corrected in 2.0.0.
