I just had to ask.

If it were me, I'd check:

        telnet to the box and attempt a connect to port 9103 to make sure  
there's no firewall block.

        If that's kick'n in gear, then I'd run the director with verbose  
logging turned on - it will usually cough up good info to  
troubleshoot the problem.
