I use one pool for incrementals, one pool for differentials and one pool for full backups (daily-weekly-monthly). All my servers go into these three pools. I use max size = 2 GB.
Then I have some directories that I backup very rarely - they have their own set of pools Then I do backup for other companies too - there I have one pool for each company for the full backups. Bacula takes care of naming, labelling and reuse of volumes automatically. It just runs without intervention (until the disk is full;-) It is not difficult to see what backups are in which volumes at what dates due to the query commands in bconsole. The I rsync the volumes to another server in another building, and ooccasionally copy the Full sets to a disk taken off-site > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Using Tomcat but need to do more?
