The problem is that your jobs are configured to use the tape drive as the storage as opposed to the loader.
The following line in your dir config - Storage = VXA-320 Should be changed to Storage = ExabytePacketloader1Ux10 Also add this line to your sd config in the VXA-320 section- Changer Device = /dev/sg1 You have to tell your jobs to use the Autochanger device instead of the actual tape drive.
