Sorry, I didn't read the the question well. Yes, I believe lto2 is the better solution.
dlt components may have cheaper list prices, but cheaper is not always less expensive or a better value. I would compare the situation to a fast two-seat sports car and a school bus. If I have 10 kids and a nominal income, the bus is the better value.
