I don't recall having said anything about "won't". I did say that Bacula cannot, IMO, do what you want, and that I don't know off hand how to implement it. It also seems to me from the email exchanged that your request is a special case, which means that it is unlikely something I would implement personally unless the users indicate by a vote that it is of high importance. Enhancements to Bacula other than me implementing features either come from a submitted and accepted patch or a Feature Request (as described on the web site) that is prioritized by the users and then implemented by someone.
