Either because you turned that off in the configuration, or the file entries have already be pruned because of a (too) short retention period. You can verify this either by a query or by trying to start the restore using the command restore, not the restore mode of wx-console. Then, it might be that wx-consoles restore mode doesn't work correctly for you. This is definitely something that's possible in my experience... myself, I was never verysatisfied with it. I'd suggest to check your configuration, your catalog contents, and start a restore job on the command line.
