I see several possibilities.

It might be that there are no file entries in the catalog. Either 
because you turned that off in the configuration, or the file entries 
have already be pruned because of a (too) short retention period.
You can verify this either by a query or by trying to start the restore 
using the command restore, not the restore mode of wx-console.

Then, it might be that wx-consoles restore mode doesn't work correctly 
for you. This is definitely something that's possible in my 
experience... myself, I was never verysatisfied with it.

I'd suggest to check your configuration, your catalog contents, and 
start a restore job on the command line.
