Will have to try that, but I thought the behavior was supposed to be: 1- See if any volume is in append mode 2- If there isn't one, check for purged volumes marked with recycle=1 3- Create new volumes It seems instead it does: 1- See if any volume is in append mode 2- Create new one > Volume Retention = 2 weeks > Maximum Volume Jobs = 1 > Maximum Volumes = 3 Thanks for the sample. Will have to go that route. A real shame to have to do this. As I add more servers I will have to babysit the size/number of volumes used and increase the number accordingly. However the current situation is not acceptable. Hundreds of gigabytes wasted is not good. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
