Hi bacula users. I noticed that my bacula-dir.conf become a mess that was very hard to maintain, so I reconstructed it to only include the core functions, sheduler, storage, mail and pool, while all clients rules is defined as:
# Client includes: @/opt/local/etc/clients/suse01.inc @/opt/local/etc/clients/linuxs7.inc @/opt/local/etc/clients/pinga.inc ..... The client inc files has everything needed for a client, such as Client, JobDefs, Job, FileSet, Console, or whatever. It works better then expected, since I expected some problems but there was none. Now I have a template for creating a new client, and later I can make a script that auto-create the client, and I don't need to change bacula-dir.conf so much, only add one line. The risk for making errors that crash the director when doing reload is now very low. /birre ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
