MsSql is a problem with any backup app. The trick is to go into maintenance as sa and schedule nightly backups to file from within MySql (I can't be specific on exactly where to do this 'cause I don't have a MsSql server in ready access at this time). Once done, you backup the offline files rather than the running/locked files.
