The release manual states this: In version 1.37, there is a new Autochanger resource that permits you to group Device resources thus creating a multi-drive autochanger. If you have a multi-drive autochanger, you must use this new resource. If you have a single drive autochanger, it is recommended, but not required. http://www.bacula.org/rel-manual/Autochanger_Support.html#SECTION000291000000000000000 Then again, the manual could be wrong. >> I tried with debug function in mtx-changer and noticed that bacula >> never runs load function in mtx-changer. It runs loaded, unload, but >> never load. Are you sure that the last command that it runs (unload?) returns with 0? If mtx-changer returns anything non-zero, Bacula assumes there's something wrong with the changer and immediately stops all actions while requesting operator intervention. You might try putting an exit 0; in there to test that.
