Are you sure that the last command that it runs (unload?) returns with
0? If mtx-changer returns anything non-zero, Bacula assumes there's
something wrong with the changer and immediately stops all actions while
requesting operator intervention. You might try putting an exit 0; in
there to test that.

Yes, "unload" and "loaded" return 0. But this is what I just found out
debugging bacula-sd. After issuing "label" command for tape in slot 6,
bacula-sd reports this:

autochanger.c:220 run_prog: /etc/bacula/mtx-changer /dev/sg2 loaded 6
/dev/nst0 0 stat=0 result=0

If I'm not mistaken, it should issue "load", not "loaded" command. This
could be reason why I have multiple respones from mtx-changer for
"loaded" function and none for "load".

Hmm... just guessing here: Is Bacula aware of the tape's correct
location? I remember reading that it relies on the volume entries in its
own database and of course, if that one doesn't correspond to the
correct one, things might go wrong (ie bacula trying to unload the tape
to the wrong slot). Dunno if that makes any sense, I don't have any
experience with Bacula and Autochangers (yet, "my" first one is on order).

Greetings,
       Michel
