I've searched the users mailing list archive and not found an answer, I've seen many people ask a similar question to no avail. I'm now going to post here to see if you guys can help.
Basically, I have 2 DLT drives (not a library or autochanger) and would like to know how I can have them both working, not necessarily at the same time. That is, I would like to put tapes in each one and when a job fills the tape on drive-1, it should then automatically use the tape (from the same pool of course) in drive-2. I'm using 1.38.3 with 1 pool and would like to know if it is possible to do this, and if so, can someone provide me with some pointers ?
