I just went to install the MySQL EL3 1.38.0 RPM onto a fresh RHEL4 system, and received the following errors:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# rpm --install bacula-mysql-1.38.0-1.EL3.i386.rpm warning: bacula-mysql-1.38.0-1.EL3.i386.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 10a792ad file /usr/sbin/loaderinfo from install of bacula-mysql-1.38.0-1 conflicts with file from package mtx-1.2.18-5 file /usr/sbin/mtx from install of bacula-mysql-1.38.0-1 conflicts with file from package mtx-1.2.18-5 file /usr/sbin/scsitape from install of bacula-mysql-1.38.0-1 conflicts with file from package mtx-1.2.18-5 file /usr/sbin/tapeinfo from install of bacula-mysql-1.38.0-1 conflicts with file from package mtx-1.2.18-5 When I searched the list archives, I see that this had popped up last year in a 1.34.5 RPM: http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.bacula.user/8475/ Adding a "--force" to the RPM command seems to have solved my problem, but I figured that I'd mention it in case anyone else was in the same boat or there was something fixed in the older RPM builds that broke again under 1.38.0... -Arthur ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Tame your development challenges with Apache's Geronimo App Server.
