Hi all,

I keep getting this error message from bacula. I do not have a job
called client1 defined in bacula-dir.conf. I have done a grep -r -i
client1 /etc/bacula and found nothing.

Have you restarted / reloaded Bacula since you first tried it?

It might be possible that there was a client1 once and, after you removed it from the config file, the data still remains in Baculas internal data set.

The commands "show jobs", "show clients" and "show job=Client1" might tell you if this job actually does exist. If you find the job does exist, you should restart the DIR (when no jobs are running!).

Hopefully this removes any remains of the non-existing job definition.

Also, make sure you verify the files included in bacula-dir.conf via the @-syntax - it is possible that this job is defined elsewhere.

I am using gentoo and the gentoo
ebuild of bacula.
