Well, the job is purged at the time the backup starts but the volume isnt recycled yet - so it`s not available.

Here we see the recycling ... after that the tape is usable for the backup but it does not try to mount it itself. Issuing a mount command starts the whole process. Maybe you should configure your retention-time a little different (-> earlier).
