How, exactly do these labels relate to the bacula label?
They have to match.
I just ordered some labels from a guy (again on eBay) because they were
surplus and cheap ( $14 including shipping versus $75+ for HP labels
from a store ).
A Brother labeller and 18mm tapes produces perfect type 37 Barcodes in
standard or compact format for LTO/DLT/SAIT format at a cost of about
6c/label. (different size labelling tapes can be used)
(It has an incrementing function, so churning out 100 labels is a
"set and walk away")
My experience of slip in paper labels is that they're prone to damage over
a few years of use.
