We are setting up Bacula as a second level of backups and I have a quick
questions about pools and defining storage.
As mentioned this is a second level backup so it will be all disk backup.
What I can't seem to find is how to limit the size of a pool. Is there a
way to set a size limit on a pool -- for example I have 3 servers in my
Chicago office that I want to backup that total about 25GB. Is there a way
to set the pool or storage that the pool uses to be no more than 30GB so it
never goes over?
Also, is it possible to define multiple storage volumes (disk based) besides
the default? When I go into wx-console and define a new pool it
automatically assigns itself to the default storage. Is there a way to add
a new pool that you can set to use another disk storage rather than the
default storage -- i.e. having multiple defined locations that the director
picks up?
Thanks guys.
