Hi there I'm having some problems with bacula .... it runs the scheduled jobs, but no backup is performed, as it's waiting for media ... I purged the volume, relabeled it, but still no results :/
Have you tried submitting the mount command? Depending on your setup, "Accept Any Volume" in the pool definition would be necessary, too.
Usually, you should also receive a mount request mail. That should do the trick... Arno
That's what I see: Device "/dev/nst0" is mounted with Volume "WEBSERVER-MON-3" Device is BLOCKED waiting for appendable media. Total Bytes Read=64,512 Blocks Read=1 Bytes/block=64,512 Positioned at File=1 Block=0 Why is it waiting? Is the volume that the job's waiting: The next Volume to be used by Job "webtol1" will be WEBSERVER-MON-3 and the volume is freshly new ... I've just labeled it ......: llist volume=WEBSERVER-MON-3 MediaId: 172 VolumeName: WEBSERVER-MON-3 Slot: 0 PoolId: 5 MediaType: DDS-4 FirstWritten: 0000-00-00 00:00:00 LastWritten: 0000-00-00 00:00:00 LabelDate: 2005-09-13 11:31:03 VolJobs: 0 VolFiles: 0 VolBlocks: 0 VolMounts: 0 VolBytes: 1 VolErrors: 0 VolWrites: 0 VolCapacityBytes: 0 VolStatus: Append Recycle: 1 VolRetention: 864,000 VolUseDuration: 518,400 MaxVolJobs: 6 MaxVolFiles: 0 MaxVolBytes: 0 InChanger: 1 EndFile: 0 EndBlock: 0 anyone can give me a hint? thanks in advance!
